Rising Star Motor got its start the way the best shops do, on word of mouth. Aung and the team have been keeping Temple City on the road since 2018, and a lot of customers came in on a friend's recommendation and simply never left.
There are no sofas, no TVs, and no snacks in the waiting room. What there is: honest diagnosis, fair pricing, and quality work on everything from a 2019 Nissan to a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere. As one regular put it, they're strictly business, and busy for a reason.

Phenomenal service! Huge thanks to Aung and the team at Rising Star Motor. They replaced my camshaft position sensor, spark plugs, and did a transmission fluid change. Truck runs smoother than ever. Honest, fast, and professional. Highly recommend if you want your ride done right. Will definitely be back!
A quick, honest family mechanic shop that was referred by a friend in 2018. Still use their service and have taken my girlfriend's car too. Hooked up her car for way less than other places. They work on many types of cars. They even took my '67 Plymouth Belvedere in. These guys are strictly business and busy for a reason.
They can be busy at times, but if you have the time, it is worth the wait. Their pricing is very reasonable and they do great work. My wife has been going here for years and now I'm a fan too.
Very polite staff. Went in for an oil change. After inspection they told me I needed to replace the brake pads. Overall a very good experience and they're transparent about the prices and issues. Highly recommend them. (2019 Nissan Sentra)
